Order Processing & Fulfillment
Made-to-order printing: All GeekyGearing products are made to order. After you place an order, we send it to one of our production partners for printing. Production typically takes 1–5 business days before an item ships out (varies by product). We work with multiple fulfillment centers worldwide and route orders to a location close to you whenever possible. This helps shorten delivery times and reduce shipping costs.
Shipping partners: We partner with reputable print providers in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Depending on your location and the product ordered, your item will be fulfilled by a provider in that region whenever possible. (For example, a mug ordered within Europe is printed in the EU, while a mug ordered in the USA is printed in the US.) This regional fulfillment approach means shipping times vary by product and destination, but it helps keep delivery efficient and as cost-effective as possible for each customer.
Shipping Destinations & Product Availability
Where we ship: We currently ship to the following regions/countries: United States, Canada, European Union countries, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. If your country is not supported at checkout, we unfortunately cannot ship to that location at this time.
Regional product restrictions: Some products are only available for shipping to specific regions. Our website is configured to show or hide products based on your selected shipping country. For example, our Comfort Colors hoodies are only offered to customers in the USA and Canada due to high international shipping costs. If you are browsing from Europe or other regions, you will not see these hoodies listed. (Likewise, certain region-specific items may not appear for U.S. customers if they’re exclusive to other markets.) We implement these restrictions to ensure you’re only shown items that can be delivered to you in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Delivery Times
We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible, but delivery times can vary depending on the product type and destination. Rather than listing an exhaustive breakdown of each product’s transit time for every country (which would be overwhelming), we provide general delivery estimates by region for simplicity. Each product page and your checkout will display more precise delivery estimates based on your location and the product(s) in your cart. Below are typical shipping timeframes (not including the 1–5 day production time) for our main markets.
United States: Approximately 3–10 business days shipping time once dispatched. Most U.S. orders arrive roughly within one week. (Items fulfilled in the U.S. – such as shirts, hoodies, and mugs – usually ship quickly via domestic carriers.)
Canada: Approximately 7–20 business days once dispatched. Note: Shipping to Canada can take up to 2–4 weeks in some cases. This is because some items are fulfilled in the U.S. and shipped across the border, which can add transit time. We choose the best available shipping method, but please allow extra time for Canadian deliveries, especially to remote areas.
Europe (including UK): Approximately 2–15 business days once dispatched. Many European orders (including UK) arrive in about a week, especially if fulfilled by our UK or EU print centers (e.g. some items ship from within the UK in as fast as ~2–5 days). However, orders to continental Europe or EFTA countries typically fall in the 1–2 week range. We buffer up to 15 business days in estimates to account for potential delays or distance (e.g. Southern or Eastern Europe deliveries on the longer end).
Australia & New Zealand: Approximately 5–12 business days once dispatched. We use an Australia-based fulfillment center for many products, so Australian orders often arrive within 1–2 weeks. New Zealand deliveries might be on the higher end of that range (about 2 weeks) due to international transit from Australia.
Note: These timeframes are estimates for shipping after production. High-demand seasons (holidays), unexpected delays (e.g. customs backlogs or carrier issues), or large orders might affect delivery times. We will do our best to keep you updated if an order seems delayed. If you haven’t received your order within the expected window, please reach out and we’ll assist.
By providing the ranges above, we keep our shipping policy concise yet informative. We want to set clear expectations without overloading you with too many product-specific details in this policy. Remember, the product page or order confirmation will show the accurate estimate for your specific item(s) and address.
Shipping Costs
Calculation of fees: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the item, print provider, and destination. Each product has a base shipping cost set by our fulfillment partner, and additional items add a smaller incremental fee. We do not upcharge on shipping; you pay what the provider charges us. You’ll see the total shipping cost before you finalize your order.
Multiple shipments: Because different products may ship from different facilities, items in the same order might arrive separately. If you order a mug and a t-shirt together, for example, they could be produced in different countries and will ship in separate packages. You will receive a tracking number for each package when it ships. Don’t worry if one item arrives a few days before another; the rest of your order is on its way from its respective fulfillment center.
Free shipping threshold: We offer free standard shipping on orders that meet the region-specific threshold. The exact threshold for your country appears in the top banner once you select your country in the country selector, and it will also be applied automatically at checkout if your cart qualifies. Orders below the threshold ship at our standard rates. The exact shipping cost will appear at checkout for your order.
Tracking: All orders include package tracking. Once your item ships, you will get an email with a tracking link. You can use this to monitor the delivery progress. If your order is split into multiple shipments, each will have its own tracking number and email update.
Customs, Duties & Additional Fees
International orders: We do our best to fulfill orders within your region to minimize customs fees (for example, EU orders are usually printed and shipped from within the EU, and Australian orders from Australia). However, if an item is shipped internationally (e.g. from the U.S. to Canada or to a country outside our main fulfillment regions), it may be subject to customs import fees or duties upon arrival. Any such charges are determined by your country’s customs agency and are the customer’s responsibility to pay. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict them. If you’re unsure about potential import taxes, you may want to check your country’s import guidelines.
Customs delays: Occasionally, international shipments can be held in customs which might extend delivery time. This is uncommon but possible. Please factor in a bit of extra time for delivery if your order is crossing an international border. (As noted, our typical transit estimates already account for some of this potential variability.)
