Return and Refund Policy for EU Customers
At GeekyGearing.com, we want you to feel confident when shopping with us. This policy explains your return, refund and withdrawal rights when you are shopping from a country in the European Union.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires. You can do this by using our online withdrawal form.
You may also contact us at support@geekygearing.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
If you use our online withdrawal form, we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email without undue delay.
Returning the item after withdrawal
If your order has already been delivered, you must send the item back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you informed us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
After you submit a withdrawal request, we will send you return instructions, including the return address, by email.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item, unless we have agreed otherwise or the item is defective, damaged or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches the return address.
Condition of returned items
You may inspect and try the item in the same way as you would in a physical store.
If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, you may be responsible for any diminished value of the item.
Refunds after withdrawal
If you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund the payment received from you for the returned item(s), including the standard delivery cost you paid, where applicable.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, or until you have provided proof that you have sent it back, whichever happens first.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Personalized products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
This includes, for example, products where you have added a name, custom text, custom image, personal message or other individual customization.
This exception does not affect your rights if the item is defective, damaged or incorrect.
Defective, damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
Please contact us at support@geekygearing.com as soon as possible after discovering the issue, preferably within 21 days of delivery for visible damage or incorrect items.
This helps us resolve the issue with our production partner as quickly as possible.
Please include:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photos or video showing the problem
If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a suitable solution, such as a free replacement or a refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
